Sue’s signature style intrigues both new and experienced collectors. Sue’s paintings are in both private and corporate collections in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia and Asia.

Sue Averell accepts commissions and works with her patrons to create a custom piece that fulfills their needs.  The process begins with identifying the subject and size of the finished work.

Before putting paint to canvas, Sue creates a black and white line sketch, or a full color drawing, in the scale of the finished painting.  This is a visual communication of her understanding of what her patron is trying to achieve.

Each project and each client is unique.  Sue takes the time to understand every aspect of the commission down to the delivery of the art.  Sue works with professional art handlers to ensure your art is delivered in perfect condition.

Over the past several years Sue has completed many commissions for private and corporate collectors.
